Now featuring Gangster, Spy, Medic, SnackMan, shootable gadget destruction, a server-authoritative Smoke Grenade system, LandMines, and a full Arcade Cabinet lineup (7 playable games).

  • 💨 Smoke Grenade (Tactical Utility) Break line of sight with server-authoritative detonation (server decides where/when). Clients only render smoke particles for performance. Carry limit enforced server-side.
  • 💣 LandMines (Silent Trap) Place a silent trap that arms after a short delay and detonates when stepped on. One active mine per player, and mines are also shootable/destructible via gadget HP.
  • ⚔️ Downed & Defib Revives Targets enter a bleed-out state instead of instant death; Defibs can revive before time runs out.
  • ⚰️ Loot Bags on Death Pawn-style inventory items spill into a loot bag at your corpse for retrieval or theft. Loot is physical and stealable once it hits the ground.
  • 👟 Dynamic Movement Sprint/Stamina + a custom WalkSpeed-enforced crouch (L.Ctrl/C) that can’t be overridden.
  • 🎯 Hardcore Hitman Contracts Bounties are tracked by target name only — no 3D GPS arrow, no free wall-hacks.
  • ⛏️ Mining District Infinite rocks (no respawns), weight-based ore pouch, random puzzles + buffs, sell to Pickaxe Pete.

City of Schemes is built around fairness and social chaos. Classes are playstyles, not power levels. Money persists — power does not.

Core Philosophy
Are classes meant to be powerful or competitive?
No. Classes are designed as playstyles, not power tiers. They add flavor, convenience, or roleplay systems — not combat dominance.
Is any class required to enjoy the game?
No. Citizen is the base class and can access all core systems. Every other class is optional.
Why do some classes feel weaker?
Some classes exist purely for fun, challenge, memes, or social interaction. Power is not the goal for every role.
Pay-to-Win & Monetization
Is this game pay-to-win?
No. There is zero pay-to-win.
Can I buy money, weapons, armor, stats, boosts, or progression skips?
No. No money purchases. No power purchases. No boosts. No skips.
Are there cosmetic items for sale?
No. There are no cosmetic items for sale.
Is there any monetization at all?
The only optional monetization may be a simple Supporter tag. It gives no perks, unlocks no items, and changes nothing about gameplay.
In-Game Shops & Donation UI
I can’t find a shop button in-game. Is something broken?
No. There is intentionally no shop UI in-game.
Will the game ever prompt me to buy something?
No. There are no popups, reminders, banners, or nagging messages.
If there is a Supporter option, where is it?
Any optional support is handled only through the Roblox game page (website/app). Nothing is sold inside the game.
Items, Death & Economy
Do weapons and gadgets save on death or logout?
No. Weapons, gadgets, and tools are lost on death and cleared on logout. Money only is saved.
Why only save money?
To keep the economy moving and prevent hoarding. If items persisted, players could stockpile power and create permanent snowball advantages. You should buy items you’re comfortable risking and losing.
Can veteran players hoard power forever?
No. Since gear resets, you can’t log in “stacked” and dominate forever. Skill and decisions matter more than stockpiles.
Is there only one way to make money?
No. There are many systems and playstyles to earn cash — not a single mandatory loop. Banking is optional.
Classes & Access
Can I get overpowered gear or “best in slot” items?
No. Gear is balanced and situational. No class or player has permanent power advantages.
Why does Hitman have a unique system?
Hitman is a purely optional roleplay system. It isn’t required for revenge, progression, or money. Hitman has no free starter gear — they buy their own equipment like anyone else.
Why does Hobo get nothing?
Hobo is a voluntary challenge / social roleplay class. Nobody is forced into it — it exists for fun, chaos, and “rags to riches” stories.
Monetization Promise
What’s the hard rule on monetization?
No in-game shop. No purchase buttons. No popups. No reminders. No dark patterns. If you want to support the game, you can (from the Roblox game page). If you don’t, nothing changes.
